Late last week I was helping a real estate friend with a house that she’s staging. Unfortunately the home owner was no where near ready for the open house that was to happen that afternoon, and it was up to us to finish the job. This meant a lot of heavy lifting, moving boxes and small furniture down to the basement, and a lot of cleaning in a short period of time.
To say I was exhausted and my feet were killing me by the time I got home is a huge understatement. I think I had been perspiring (aka sweating like a pig) through every pour in my body, and my feet felt horrid.. sweat soaked socks inside stinky running shoes. Yuck.
Thankfully, I’d been given the opportunity to review Avon Foot Works Beautiful Pineapple Chill. What a Godsend I tell you! I knew if I left it until later, the aches and pains were going to be twice as bad, so I had a nice long soak in the tub, and then pampered my feet.
Most of the foot pampering products out there, especially the cooling ones, have a strong mint scent, which honestly I’m not fond of. Pineapple Chill is completely different with a very light pineapple and lime scent, and absolutely nothing is lost in the cooling abilities! It definitely gives you that cooling breeze feeling.
Avon Foot Works Pineapple Chill Exfoliating Scrub
After climbing out of the tub, I started with the Pineapple Chill Exfoliating Scrub. I’ve tried some foot scrubs in the past that have felt so heavy with extra big “grit” that just felt rough and like they’d take half my foot off with them. Not so with with Pineapple Chill! It barely felt like a foot scrub, yet left my feet feeling so much softer and refreshed.
As I’ve been noticing my heels getting quite dry lately, I paid special attention to them, and in just a few minutes they felt (and looked) 100% better.. I won’t be embarrassed to put on my sandals tomorrow that’s for sure!
Avon Foot Works Pineapple Chill Cooling Lotion
Regardless of how gentle, after exfoliating you should always follow up with a moisturizer, so it gave me the opportunity to try out the Pineapple Chill Cooling Lotion right after. The same light weight pineapple and lime fragrance (which I’m completely in love with btw), the lotion felt AMAZING! And it dried in no time at all, yet still left that cooling feeling, as well as leaving my feet feeling even softer than it already was!
Avon Foot Works Pineapple Chill Cooling Spray
My plans for the following day changed a little bit, so instead of sandals, I went with a good pair of comfortable loafers for walking.. but I added a secret weapon this time!
I knew with the temperature climbing that my feet were going to be getting warm, if not hot (but hey, they’d be comfortable!), so I started out with the Pineapple Chill Cooling Spray, with 2 or 3 sprays directly on the bottom of my feet. Just like the Cooling Lotion, the spray dried in no time flat, and it definitely felt very cooling.
During the day, I was proved correct in that my feet were definitely feeling warm, but thankfully the Pineapple Chill Cooling Spray also acted as a deodorizer so there was no yucky stink when I finally got home and took my shoes off. Yes, my feet could have used an extra squirt or two during the day (thankfully it’s handy enough that I can throw it in my purse next time!), but all in all, the cooling spray get’s a 10 Toes Up from me!
